First heptathlon competition for Kerrin

PITREAVIE athlete Kerrin De-Pear made her debut in the heptathlon at the Scottish Combined Events Championships in Aberdeen at the weekend.
The 17-year-old, competing in the under-20 and senior women's section, finished in seventh place overall after the seven events.
On the first day, she completed the 100m hurdles in 19.27s, cleared 1.39m in the high jump, threw 5.65m in the shot putt and recorded a time of 30.25s for the 200m.
On the second day, her best long jump was 4.05m, she threw the javelin 14.36m and completed the 800m in 2:43.92.
