It was very sad to read the news on our Facebook page that former Club member , Army Captain David Seath , died at the end of the London Marathon yesterday.
David was a former pupil of St Columbas' and a fine athlete , particularly over 400m: I think it is of interest to record his best performances:
He is ranked 8th in the Club All Time List for U15 400m with his best of time of 55.21secs.
In 1999 in the U15 age group , David was East District 400m Champion - 56.13 and silver medalist at 200m - 24.79.
Also in 1999 , he was silver medalist at 400m at Scottish Schools.
