Louise leads the way in Forth Valley League

PITREAVIE had a number of winners in the second match of the Forth Valley League at Grangemouth.
Under-13 athlete Louise Conway was a double winner, finishing first in the 200m in 28.7s, and then joining Dani Mauchlen, Naomi McHardy and Amy Rose O'Neill to win the 4x100m relay in 55.8s.
Caleb McLeod won the under-11 boys' 600m race in a time of 1:50.0, and was also second in the 200m in 29.9s.
In the under-15 age group, Skye Marshall was victorious in the high jump with a clearance of 1.48m, and Ailsa Barr won the 'B' string 1500m in 5:19.6.
For the boys, Lewis Dow came out on top in the 1500m in a time of 4:34.0.
Pitreavie athletes finishing second in their events included Beth Aitken (U15 'B' 200m), Dani Mauchlen (U13 'B' 200m), Erin MacFarlane (U11 600m), Kyle MacFarlane (U13 1500m), Lauren Blair (U15 1500m), Conor Allan (U15 'B' 1500m), Jennifer Brydon (U15 'B' high jump) and Gregor McPherson (U15 'B' high jump).
The under-15 quartet of Sarah Duff, Beth Aitken, Jennifer Brydon and Skye Marshall were also second in the 4x100m.
Third place finishes were achieved by Cameron Keelan (U15 200m), Euan Sloway (U11 'B' 200m), Louis Christie (U13 'B' 1500m), Kieran Boundy (U13 long jump), Caitlin Ritchie (U13 'B' javelin) and Amy Rose O'Neill (U13 long jump).
