Coach: Eamon FitzGerald
Congratulations to all the athletes on a busy and encouraging year. Every athlete set a PB at least once and the group can claim a Scottish Age Group record and Schools Championship Best Performance among its achievements. We are now established as one of the leading event development groups in Scotland and that is despite not being able to carry out any vault training outdoors and lacking essential ancillary gymnastic training equipment. Let us hope this situation can be resolved for next year. Our philosophy as a group is train to compete at as high a level as is possible. Always look for the next level of competition and enjoy the excitement of pole vaulting. Our younger athletes are encouraged to continue participating in other track and field events as they continue to develop their pole vault skills.
