BACK FOR A FOURTH YEAR! What better way to get warmed up for the festive period than a festive run then back to the cosy cafe for a fab prizegiving?                    
                       

The event will take place at Pitreavie playing fields, Dunfermline on Sunday 9th December starting at the Pitreavie AAC clubhouse.

Registration will be in the clubhouse gym and will open from 12pm where you will collect your race number and your Santa hat.

All finishers will receive a medal.

 

CHANGING FACILITIES

There are changing facilities and showers avaiable.

 

TIMETABLE

1:30pm          Christmas Cracker Relay (one adult & one child or two children)

1:45pm          Junior Jingle Run (approx 1.5K)

1:55pm          Rudolph's Racerunner Relay (5K relay on the track for athletes using racerunning bikes)

2pm               Jingle Bell Run (approx 5K)

 

 

JINGLE BELL RACE (ages 14+)

The route starts at the 100m start line on the track. The Jingle Bell will consist of 2 laps around the playing fields and lane (due to being run on playing fields the route may alter slightly on the day, 5K is the appoximate distance). The race will finish on the running track in front of the stadium making it very spectator friendly!

Note 5K is the appximate distance and the route could vary  on the day.

 

 

Junior Jingle Bell (primary 3 to S2)

The route starts at the 100m start line on the track. The 1.5K will consist of a lap around the playing fields and finish on the track (due to being run on playing fields the route may alter slightly on the day, 1.5K is the appoximate distance). The route will be confirmed on the day.

 

 

Christmas Cracker Relay

The Christmas Cracker relay team consists of one adult and one child (or two kids, or pretty much anything goes!), this will be run entirely on the track with each runner doing one lap each (400m). Adults why not use this race as a warm up for the 5K?

 

Rudolph Racerunner Relay

A 5K relay event on the track for all Pitreavie Racerunners

 

REFRESHMENTS

The clubhouse cafe will be open for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soup, hotdogs and sweet treats.

 

RACE PRIZES

Age Category prizes in the 5K. As well as first 3 overall Male & Female we also have prizes for 1st Male & Female in the following age categories - U15, U17, Under 20/Senior, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ .
 

(If you win an overall prize you will not also win the age group price)

Age group prizes in the 1.5K Junior Jingle Run.
