Two Pitreavie athletes took to the hills on Sunday for the Lomonds Junior Hill Race which is part of the National Junior Hill Running League. Both girls (Emily Nicholson and Alana Sneddon) moved up to the Under 17 age group so run the longer race distance and Emily was second to finish in a time of 35.42s, just 52 seconds behind Fife AC runner Ailsa Cruickshanks. Both girls' times broke the existing record.
Alana was 5th home in a time of 51.26sec.
