Eilidh Child opened her competition in the 400m Hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow this morning (Monday 12th August).
Running in lane 1 of the 4th heat she placed 2nd and qualified comfortably in a time of 55.17.
The semi finals are on Tuesday at 4.05pm with the final on Thursday at 5.45pm.
