Pitreavie’s winning streak continued with two silver medals at the 4 x 200m finals on 15th February at the Emirates Stadium. The U17 Women A team (D Mauchlen, S Wallwork, A Chisholm and R Grieve) delivered on their promising performances in the heats by coming second in the finals with a time of 1:44:34 behind VP-Glasgow AC who came first in 1:44:02. The impressive Pitreavie team also secured a new overall club and U17 women’s record for the 4 x 200m relay, breaking the previous record 1:44:41 from 2017 in the same event. Completing Pitreavie’s medal haul, the U15 Girls A team (K Richardson, A McCloud, E Macfarlane and M McCloud) won silver in a time of 1:50:16, a significant improvement on their time in the semis of 1:52:30, with Giffnock North coming first in 1:47:41.
